Undergraduate Summer Internship Program

The Center for Economy and Society at the SNF Agora Institute and the Center on Global Poverty offer a competitive Undergraduate Summer Internship Program for students interested in international development. Each year, this full-time, paid summer internship provides two students with hands-on experience working with leading international development organizations in Washington, D.C. Internship placements include organizations such as CGIAR, the International Rice Research Institute, the International Food Policy Research Institute, and the World Bank. Eligibility and Selection
This award is open to all undergraduates who have formally declared their major in Moral & Political Economy. Successful applicants will work forty hours per week over ten weeks in the summer and will be paid a competitive salary. Student interns will register for a 1-credit summer internship course.
Application Process
- Applications for an internship position at one of the above organizations will open in the Summer of 2026 will open on January 1st, 2025.
- The deadline for applications is March 2, 2025, and we expect to make decisions by March 16, 2025.
