Lesleigh Taylor is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University where she completed her studies in Anthropology and African American Diaspora Studies. 

Lesleigh is interested in exploring racialized geographies and the effects of such materialities on politics, cartographic practices, community building, and care tactics. During her time at Vanderbilt, Lesleigh expressed these interests working as a Research Assistant for the university’s Reproductive Politics Lab. She also received the Emily Anne Bennett Plant Award in Anthropology in support of her honors thesis research on Black women’s educational experiences through the lens of their geo-spatial positionalities in Southern U.S. universities.
