On Craft and Practice: How to Think Creatively about the PhD by Bridging Organizational Work with Research
with Professor Hahrie Han, Professor Adam Seth Levine, and Pamela Nwakanma, SNF Agora Postdoctoral Fellow
The purpose of the session is to share practical insights on how to bridge the gap between academia and practice, by learning from the experiences of scholars who have done translational work in various fields. We will discuss various strategies for policy work, consulting, media engagement, writing for general audiences, collaborating with agencies, etc. This session is open to everyone , but would be particularly ideal for early career scholars such as students, faculty and postdoctoral fellows.
