SNF Agora’s communities of practice build sustained learning communities designed to enable scholars and practitioners to work together on issues of shared concern.
These communities enable co-created solutions and shared learning that develop bilateral exchanges of knowledge between academic inquiry and democratic practice.
Tackling the most complex problems in democracy requires not just developing new scholarly insights, but also making those insights actionable for people working on the ground. Communities of practice bridge gaps between diverse groups of thinkers and civic actors, and foster the type of multi-stakeholder collaboration that is essential for pluralistic democracies to thrive.
