LOCATION: GLASS PAVILION, HOMEWOOD CAMPUS
For many in our Hopkins community, the 2020 Census (taken by the U.S. Government every 10 years) will be their first. What is it all about? Why does it matter? Please join us to learn why it’s important, how you will be counted, and how Hopkins will help Baltimore City with its census efforts.
Barbara Mikulski, the longest-serving woman in Congress’s history and a professor of public policy at Johns Hopkins, will offer keynote remarks. She will be joined by experts from Johns Hopkins 21st Century Cities Initiative and Baltimore City’s Census Project.
We’re excited to team up with Hopkins Votes in this effort to ensure that everyone at Hopkins is counted.
Free food, t-shirts, and other giveaways!
This event is co-sponsored by 21st Century Cities Initiative, Hopkins Votes, and the SNF Agora Institute.
