Free, virtual event

On Sunday, October 30, Brazilians will decide who will be their next president—extreme-right President Jair Bolsonaro or center-left former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The stakes are high as election results will deeply shape Brazilian democracy (and Latin American politics) in the years to come. Join SNF Agora Visiting Fellow Beatriz Rey for a briefing that will discuss the election results and assess possible scenarios for the new president.
