Pro-democracy activist and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov will teaching the upcoming intersession course entitled “Frontlines of Freedom”, featuring daily guest lectures by prominent dissidents from oppressive countries around the world. Students will explore authoritarianism and the global struggle for democracy, American flaws and exceptionalism, and building a pro-democracy coalition.
