Alexis Holewinski is a sophomore studying international studies from Falls Church, VA. She is interested in the intersection between mass communications and civic engagement, and she is passionate about understanding and addressing the roots of disenchantment with democracy. On campus, she is also a host for the Hopkins Podcast on Foreign Affairs, a staff writer for The JHU News-Letter, an Alumni Student Ambassador, and a volunteer for Hopkins Votes. Otherwise, she can be found running through Charles Village, baking, or curled up doing The New York Times crossword.
