Claire Trilling is a doctoral student in Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests focus on civil resistance, social movement organizing, and democracy.
Trilling graduated from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and Anthropology. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked with the Albert Einstein Institution to develop training resources on nonviolent action for activists worldwide. More recently, she has conducted research with The Horizons Project on civil resistance against democratic backsliding.
