Devin is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. At the SNF Agora Institute, Devin is a research assistant at the P3 lab working on projects related to multi-racial coalition-building, organizing strategy, civic engagement, and more. He is a former fellow of the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute, where he pursued questions related to mass incarceration and its relationship to civic participation of vulnerable communities. His senior thesis will explore the phenomenon of coalitions between progressive advocacy groups and corporations, who are typically framed as enemies in American politics but often become “strange bedfellows.” He is a former community college student and plans to pursue his Ph.D. in Political Science starting in the Fall of 2023.
