Kara Piccirilli is the Senior Academic Program Coordinator at The SNF Agora Institute. She brings a background in education, human rights, and governance. She served as the Academic Program Coordinator for international programs at George Washington University’s RRIEM. Over the course of her career, she has served in a number of roles, including program/project manager and advocate, in NGO/INGOs, including the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace, and Security, and intergovernmental entities, including the UN Development Fund for Women and Girls (UNIFEM). She also has served as a lead educator with a focus on humanistic educational design, pedagogy, and practice. Kara received her LLM in Human Rights Law from The University of Nottingham (UK).
