Kris-Stella Trump

SNF Agora Faculty Affiliate, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Memphis

Kris-Stella Trump is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Memphis who studies perceptions of deservingness, attitudes toward income inequality, and the politics of distribution.

In 2017-2019, she served as program director of the Anxieties of Democracy and Media and Democracy programs at the Social Science Research Council. Previously, she worked at the Center for Healthcare Delivery Sciences at Harvard Medical School with a joint appointment to the Office of Evaluation Sciences at the General Services Administration.

She earned her PhD (Harvard University, 2013) in political science, with a focus on political psychology and behavior. She also holds an M.Phil in European politics from Oxford University, and a BA in social and political sciences from Cambridge University.
