Mia Aleman is a sophomore from McAllen, Texas, in the International Studies Direct Matriculation Program with the School of Advanced International Studies with a museums & society minor. On campus, she is the under-secretary-general of programming for the Johns Hopkins Model United Nations Conference, an editor for the Foreign Affairs Review, treasurer for the Hopkins Democrats, and social chair for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. She looks forward to bringing her diverse interests in the arts and culture to the world of civic engagement as an important vehicle for change.
