Sanjana is a junior from New Jersey majoring in Public Health Studies. Passionate about promoting diversity and equity in the healthcare and political spheres, Sanjana believes that education and civic engagement are vital to affecting positive, lasting change. In addition to her involvement with the SNF Agora Institute, she is the Director of Campus Engagement for the Multicultural Leadership Council, helps conduct Early Childhood Education research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and works to promote health education through Medicine for the Greater Good , a Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center initiative. She also serves as the President of Food As Medicine, an organization dedicated to teaching Baltimore City elementary school students about healthy living. As a member of the Student Engagement Board, she hopes to foster inclusive dialogue and active civic engagement on campus.
