Xinyue Gu is a sophomore studying Applied Mathematics and Statistics. She is interested in how evolvements of social media continuously reshape the public sphere and transform political dialogues. On campus, she serves as secretary for Hopkins Feminists Club, oversees social media for the Alternative Protein Project at Johns Hopkins, part of the programming team for the Chinese Students and Scholars Association. You will find her mostly sleeping till afternoon, or hunting for food in the city.
